Fueling the Next Generation Professional Development workshop series:  Supporting Neurodivergent Learners (July 2024)

An Inclusiveology & F.U.E.L.S.

partnership!

Inclusiveology and Florida's Unique Education Learning Support partnered together for our inaugural collaboration which united passionate educators dedicated to making a difference, provided resources and tools that impact change for neurodivergent kids, and continued our "shift" in providing what every kid needs to be successful in learning.

Our week together with teachers in the Tampa FL area from July 8-12, 2024 was truly exceptional, marked by learning, growth, and inspiration. We hope this stands as the beginning of an annual event that will continue to foster learning and support for educators. Eighty-two scholarships were provided to teachers to attend the workshops including materials, and F.U.E.L.S. is in the process of fulfilling wish lists for participants.  What a gift for those that attended!

Here’s what some of our participants had to say:

“I can’t even list all the ways this workshop has prepared me to support my learners! What an incredible week of learning. Thank you!”

– Brooke, Eisenhower Elementary School Teacher (FL)

“This was honestly the best training I’ve attended. It was energetic, positive, engaging, and fun. The presenters were knowledgeable and passionate, and their enthusiasm was contagious. I’m eager for future trainings and have been sharing my experience with friends and colleagues. Thank you for all the amazing support!”

– Sherrill, Pinellas County (FL) School Teacher

About Melissa & Florida's Unique Education Learning Support

As a dedicated parent, educator, and advocate, I've committed myself to enhancing educational opportunities for all. After earning my Early Elementary degree and working with Title I students in Pinellas County Schools, I transitioned to schooling my own children at home to meet their unique needs. My involvement in various educational organizations, from serving on the board of Florida Cyber Charter Academy to my current roles in PTSA and Parents for School Options, reflects my passion for empowering Teachers, parents and students. Co-founding FUELS has allowed me to bridge the gap between teacher/student-parent needs; we're driven to ensure that every child receives the support they deserve.
