My Story
From the time I was 5 years old, I knew my brain worked differently. I thrived in writing, music, and creative expression, but math sent me to summer school, and the classroom rarely made room for how I actually learned best. That quiet sense of defeat, of being smart but unseen, followed me for years. It also lit a fire in me.
When I became an educator, I recognized that same look in too many kids’ eyes, and I made it my mission to do something about it. Today, with 20+ years of classroom experience, and 11+ years of coaching, I show up for teachers and students the way I wish someone had shown up for me.
The solution I never had…
Inclusiveology is where overwhelmed teachers find practical tools, real coaching, and an instructional model that makes inclusion feel doable, not daunting. From assistive technology and small group strategies to IEP support and Solution Sessions, everything is designed to help educators build classrooms where every kid feels genuinely included in their own learning.
Inclusiveology also gives back to non-profits focused on adoption, foster care, special education, and behavioral health, because the “human element” matters as much inside the classroom as it does beyond it. Including every kid in learning isn’t just our tagline. It’s something we stand on.
